We were racing against the clock but it was worth, we had fun and finally got up our Lunar Robot prototype and finished editing the video essay where we presented to all members of Team Antarqui.
We had many problems trying to design a robot that climbs the crater, we did many variations, all contributing with their ideas and possible solutions to get the current design.We are all very friendly, had great moments in Gustavo’s and Aldo’s houses.
Thanks to Aldo’s parents (Mr. and Mrs. Perich) to accept us into his house, which became our second headquaters xD.

estuvimos corriendo contra el reloj pero valió la pena, nos divertimos mucho y por fin conseguimos armar nuestro prototipo de Robot Lunar y terminamos de editar el ensayo del vídeo donde presentamos a todos los miembros del Team Antarqui.
Tuvimos muchos problemas intentando diseñar un robot que logre trepar el cráter, hicimos muchas variaciones, todos aportando sus ideas y posibles soluciones hasta conseguir el diseño actual. Todos somos muy amigos, compartimos gratos momentos en casa de Gustavo y de Aldo.
Gracias a los padres de Aldo (Sr. Aldo y Sra. Verónica) por aceptarnos en su casa, la cual se convirtió en nuestro segundo centro de operaciones xD.

Registration is closed, there are 209 teams competing and just 12 days to send Video Essay and Robot Design Proposal.
Antarquis are workin’ on Robot Design Proposal but we have a doubt, which one is better, LDD or Google Sketchup? both are a good options but we’re going to discover which one has more libraries and let us to work by separated (manipulator and navigation system) and then to join both designs.
It’s pretty hard to imagine how could be more effective our design, that’s the challenge.
We’re goin’ to posting during next why choosing LDD or Google Sketchup and some screenshots of our Robot.

Los Antarquis, estamos trabajando en el diseño del prototipo del Robot pero tenemos una duda, ¿cuál es mejor, LDD o Google Sketchup? ambos son buenas opciones pero vamos a descubrir cual tiene más librerías y nos permite trabajar por separado (el sistema de navegación y el manipulador) para luego juntar ambos diseños en uno solo.
Es un poco difícil imaginar como podría ser más efectivo nuestro diseño, ese es el reto!
Vamos a publicar durante la semana el porque elegimos LDD o Google Sketchup y algunas capturas de nuestro Robot (los avances).
This is our blog for Challenge MoonBots. What is it? It’s an exciting competition sponsored by LEGO and XPRIZE Foundation where you just have to build a prototype robot to simulate a lunar exploration. We’re working on that, this week we’re going to register our team and could be the only South American team but hope to see more South American teams registered.
